Oh-ber-jean? Ow-bear-gine? Aubergine!! I'll just call it an eggplant. Do you love this Botticelli of vegetables? If this purple curvy veggie is your fave, I've just stepped it up a notch with a GIANT huggable aubergine. I recommend a recipe of snuggles, hugs, giggles and squeezes. Roasting and stewing is not recommended.

Soft, squishy and absolutely ridiculous, this pillow will make anyone smile. Have a food fight that's easy to clean up, or make your vegan friend's day. Made of purple fleece, it is a huggable fruit with no danger of bruising or ever going bad. The top stem is of dark green felt and the whole veggie is stuffed with 90% recycled non-allergenic polyester stuffing.

Food allergies? Ironically, my fruits and vegetables are non-allergenic.

This giant eggplant shaped pillow measures 10" (30cm) across and is 15" (37cm) tall.

My Jumbo Jibbles are designed in San Jose, California, in a beautiful studio that was once a roller skating rink. In 2016 I teamed up with a small factory in Arizona to help me make my best-selling items so I could focus on making new things. This item will ship from the American Bear Factory in Phoenix, AZ. If you buy multiple items, they may come in separate shipments.

I began designing fruits and vegetables in 2011 as a silly project to help me destress from work. Making normal objects much bigger than they are in real life creates a spark in me. Holding a giant eggplant makes you feel smaller in comparison, and sometimes we just need to feel tiny and take a nap. Young or old, Jumbo Jibbles are for the sleepy times in all our lives.

To keep a handmade item looking its best, handwash first. Always let air-dry.

You can machine wash most of my stuffed creations-- but only in a front-load washer. The agitator in a top-loader is too aggressive for the hand-stitched details.

Some specialized photo props may not be washable, but that is something that will be discussed case-by-case.

The first 400 or so carrots were made by me with some help from my erstwhile assistant Nancy (hey Nancy!). After that, to keep up I partnered with the American Bear Company in Phoenix, AZ. They allow small designers to get batches as small as 50 pieces made in their woman-owned factory. My carrots, lemons, lime and blueberries are now made and shipped from there.

If that bums you out that it didn't come directly from me, I get that. Deciding to have an outside manufacturer make some of my products was a hard decision, made after constant hand-sewing gave me repetitive stress injuries. Every item in my store will say whether or not someone has helped me make it-- that's my promise!
